Greetings Friends,
Summertime is winding down, which means grilling “season” is coming to a close.
Ironically, some of my favorite times to grill are in the Fall and Winter, so I’m really a year-round griller and love it.
Today we are taking a trip to Thailand 🇹🇭 for one of my favorite street foods.. grilled meat skewers 🤤
Moo Ping is on the menu… hint, if you see “moo” on Thai menu.. you’re getting pork…
Moo Ping
Laab Moo
etc, etc.
Street Foods
From my time travelling in Asia (and I plan to do a lot more), one of my favorite activities is walking the street food stalls and seeing what is cooked up…
From China, to Thailand, to the Philippines… all of these food cultures have distinct and wonderful flavors…
Thailand 🇹🇭 is one of my faves… the explosive flavors of sweet, sour, salty and hot 🥵 all come together and make a most delicious meal.
Street foods in times past were regarded as low-tier… however, there are now Michelin starred establishments that are serving street food, because… the food is so delicious!
So let’s light up the grill and I’m gonna show an amazing, lower fat, grilled skewer that is bursting with flavor and takes no time to make in-advance!
-No lengthy marinades…
-No overnight cooking methods…
-All of this is done while the coals light, then grill…
-Simple… and absolutely delicious!
