Octopod Sub Update!

Greetings Fren,

Today was a frenzy of activity, so here’s a breakdown of the excitement and what you can expect going forward.

BowTiedIsland- BowTiedBull unveiled the BowTiedIsland website which will serve as platform to highlight talent in The Jungle and serve as a springboard for those launching online ventures.

This is a huge development and Octopod is stoked to be a part of the First 6 slots on BowTiedIsland.

-Octopod announced a few weeks ago that a Paid Substack was in the works and now have some more details for you all!

You can officially join the paid substack now and receive all of the premium content published going forward.

What will this look like for Paid Subs?

-Going forward all recipes will be for Paid Subs. There will be weekly recipe drops. (I’m leaving previous recipe posts up for future finders to have a sample of what happens in the paid sub.)

-These recipes will contain more detail, as I can dedicate more time to the Sub.

-Expect lots of flavor hacks as I unleash my full palate arsenal, developed from spending many years in high end kitchens. This takes the guess work out for you and gets you straight to delicious without fumbling through horribly tasting meals.

-Efficiency hacks to maximize your budget (Think: 3 meals-1 chicken)

-Continued Macro commentary on ingredients, techniques and flavors.

-Q&A’s throughout the month, on announcement.

Founding Member:

Octopod is working with a Japanese knife maker for a custom Gyuto (aka Chef Knife). This is a high quality blade that will have the Ocotopod Logo and “Few” etched into the blade.

The blade will be a release only for Founders, and I’m using this as a test for many other ideas for branded knives, cookware, accessories and more as the Octopod brand will venture into Ecom.

The Founding member will receive the 1yr annual Sub, and the Knife. Free shipping inside the US (Int’l DM me to arrange).

I expect final prototypes in the next few days and shipments can start in the coming weeks.

Digital Products:

It only took a few hours and a Jungle Animal asked for Ox and Octo to do a collab on meal planning & macros. We connected immediately and this is in process. This will serve as another proof of concept as Octopod has plans to put out a number of digital cooking products to help you get to The Island eating well.

Consults:

It’s inevitable that lots of Jungle denizens have different dietary or allergy restrictions. Being in the fine dining scene for so long, Octopod excels creating tailored plans/hacks for those with specific issues. I will take consults on a very limited basis. Please DM me if you are interested.

The Future:

As you can see, this is just the beginning… thinking big on how many people need help with what they are putting into their bodies, and not knowing healthful food can be delicious, is a wide open ocean that Octopod will be providing for.
