Dear octopod, subscribed today after following for over a year. it was long overdue. Fell in love with your sub stack since a post on rice and wine. Now with a bit more time to cook, I look forward to discovering your recipes and learning your techniques.
I love cooking, especially over fire, and I feel I'm gonna be very happy with your posts. thank you and have a great one
Not a fan of cooking on induction. Also limits your materials choices for pots and pans. It's not as responsive as gas or even electric, IMO. It's good for boiling water quickly... that's all I got. 😂
Top class, thanks, Octo. I appreciate that. Yeah, it's annoying that you can't search back through comments. I think I came across two occasions where you posted a restaurant list previously. It might be worth a dedicated post at some point. Thanks again, Risteard
Hey Octo. I know there are some New York restaurant recommendations on here but I can't seem to find them. Could you point me in the right direction? I am looking for recommendtions around Brooklyn ideally where I can buy vouchers as a gift. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks from Dublin. Risteard
This is great, thanks Octo!
🤝

Nice cookbook drop!
🙏
Thank you for this!

Octo… this is insanely awesome. The work, detail, passion and knowledge behind each post is ridiculous! Keep up the wonderful work!
Do you have thoughts on induction stovetops/ovens?
