Italian cuisine is magical because simplicity rules 🇮🇹 🍝
The idea of a few, simple and quality ingredients combined with proper technique has made this cuisine iconic in gastronomy.
This means you as a cook have nothing to hide behind.
Crappy ingredients? Not gonna be great
Bad Technique? Won’t slap hard like it should and your final plate will be pedestrian.
This recipe today is a case study in Italian cooking philosophy and is possibly my favorite summer pasta.
I’ve been traveling a lot but I made this for Momma & Papa Octopod before departing on another adventure and my dad, who is the epitome of restraint, had 3 servings 😂
It really is that good and soul-satisfying… using a summer classic vegetable with an optional seafood component.
The entire plate comes together in about 10 mins… but only after an important trick is employed to make sure you have a flavor bomb.
