Today is all about you š
š Iām going to be taking things up a notch in the coming weeks/month;
-adding some bells and whistles to take advantage of the Substack platform
-more specific user requested content
-using my cooking expertise to get you cooking the tastiest food of your life on a daily basis.
Expect us to shift into more Fall/Autumn flavors and next week will have a Mushroom Guide to increase your comfort cooking and dealing with all types of delicious mushroomsā¦ there are a lot you just need to know how to prepare, cook and recommended flavor pairings.
Today Iām opening up a Q&A, i donāt do these often, and I want to hear from you š«µ
There are two components today that I need your help with.
Below are (2) polls.
The first will allow me to keep a good pulse on the Food & Cooking content you enjoy most.
The second will give me an idea of what additional content to add and expand to. Aside from cooking there are other areas of Food & Beverage that Iām deeply knowledgeable and passionate about: Travel, Global Restaurant Recs, Food Cultures, Wine & Pairings, Coffee, Food Tasting Reviewsā¦ just to name a few.
The polls are open 72 hours, so get your votes in while open.
The Q&A portion will be open for 48 hours. Iāll be closing comments on Sunday night around 11pm/est. For the Q&A:
-ask me any kitchen questions that you may have; techniques, troubleshooting, etc.
-Iām also taking recipe requests that I can add to the content schedule. *A note: all recipes published in this Substack are scaled and tested before publishing. Whether Iāve made the recipe 50 or 500 times, it gets tested for home kitchen use to set you up for the best success possible.
Thank you for your feedback and support in making this the best Food & Cooking publication online š
*Note, Iām adding another poll due to a mishap with my notes š
Thank you for your feedback! Drop all Questions in the comments and Iāll be monitoring periodically over the next ~48hours and responding.
Next week we are talking Mushrooms š
NOTE: If you already answered the polls, please go back, I added another... want to know if Time or Flavor is biggest priority in recipes for you. š
Love all your posts a lot. The soy sauce in your hazelnut romesco a while back is something I thought about for weeks. In addition, the harissa paste with lemon zest is now just a regular standard in my fridge. If anything, I miss meal set drops. It would be nice if you did one once a season, and then maybe eventually a book of those. Thanks for all you write about food!
