I've been really starting to get interested in cocktail recipes. I had a watermelon based marg and it was delicious. I may tinker with this recipe and add some watermelon.
I made this guacamole with your carnitas and your flour tortilla recipe today. My guests were French so I omitted all spicy ingredients. The meal was a big success! All delicious and the guacamole was given special recognition by one guest as the best guacamole he has ever had. Again, he is French so I don’t know how much guacamole he has actually had ...but just for fun I’m going to pretend that he is a guacamole expert. :)
Enjoyed the margarita recipe quite a bit. Found the maraschino to be a little overpowering though, cut it down to about 1/8 oz and upped the lime juice a bit. That was the sweet spot for me
Big rabbit hole... honestly prefer Mezcal but are you looking for Blanco, Reposado or Anejo? I'll def put something up on these in the next week or two. Been getting a lot of questions
I don't vary too much in my libations, it's a nice red wine or an Old Fashioned. Would love a recipe for an Old Fashioned, many times they're too sweet. Will definitely try this margarita however, sounds delicious, thanks!
Use a blanco tequila. Espolon Blanco is widely available and what I would call mid-tier; any similar is fine. Would probably use Cointreau over Triple Sec. You can sub, just the specific liquors listed were used by myself and mixologist when making the recipe.

I'm down for some more cocktail recipes!

Thanks for yet another great post! Glad to see my Guacamole isn't too far of from what you're making ;) Will add some lime zest next time.
Would also love more cocktail-recipes in the future! Do you have any favorite tequila-brands? Interested in both mid-tier and top-tier.

Looking forward to it! Honestly I'm usually using Blanco only because that's what I'm used to, have mixed results with Anejo.
Have never tried Mezcal, gotta check it out!

Before I had kids I would make facemelting margs:
3 shots white tequila, 2 shots Cointreau, 1 shot fresh squeezed lime, shaken in a salt rimmed glass...
Being that even 1 is too much for wifey while she’s nursing, I’ll try your recipe instead!
And I’m loving summer cocktail recipes
