I've been big into coffee about 8 years. Currently have an Ode Gen 2 w/ SSP and brew single origin light roasts with v60's (sometimes mess with the Stagg brewer as well). Curious if you have a good consistent recipe/technique for ~30g doses. I use the Hoffmann technique but find it's not consistent. His 15g dose recipe is great but I typically like to brew once a day not twice.
I think it makes a difference, but at that point a 30-60 second difference is going down the 'tism trail hard. Most importantly i think is having a routine you follow consistently. I liked how he dubunked a lot of these "competition recipes" as not being feasible or performing well at home.
Great read, and thank you for sharing your expertise with us. 🙏

I don't brew that much at a time but I defer to Lance Hedrick and you might really like this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BG5Tc8MR2_4
PS: Those SSP burrs are great
Curious if you have thoughts on bloom time, Lance says 1-2 minutes but usually recipes call for 45 seconds...does it matter that much?
