Itβs going to be a busy couple of weeks before Thanksgiving π
Please read to the end because I have a question I need your feedback on!
Before I drop the deets on a brand new podcast I was on, make sure you didnβt miss a favorite cabbage π₯¬ recipe I just released.
I also published this recipe on Twitter
I was recently joined by BowtiedWineGuy on the Common Sense podcast series hosted by BowtiedCommoner.
*You should be following both on Twitter!
WineGuy and I have done collabs before here on Substack, but this was our first time speaking and it was a blast.
Commoner does a great job hosting, asking questions and this is the 3rd podcast episode Iβve had the pleasure of doing with her.
This podcast was all about wine, finding good wines, pairing with food and talking holidays. πΎ
If youβre curious in winemaking basics, how to shop for wines with confidence and perfect food pairings with an emphasis on holidays and giftsβ¦ this is a must listen!
One thing that came up during the podcast is a book that helped me learn a ton early on in my wine journey.
Itβs a book by Andrea Immer-Robinson who is a Master Sommelier called βGreat Wine Made Simpleβ
This book takes you through the βBig 6β grapes in easy to understand verbiage, with recommendations for buying and tasting; as well as tasting notes.
This is invaluable if youβre trying to get started or expand your curiosity in wine and want some expert direction.
Itβs been updated a few times since original publishing
This would make a great gift for any wine enthusiast!
Finally at the end of the podcast WineGuy and I go through some of our favorite wines and producers that we look for.
This is a literal cheat code for you!
This was so much fun and we might be doing more of theseβ¦ itβs up to you!
